The State College Framing Co. & Gallery will host an eclectic, three-woman exhibit this fall which features the tantalizing colors, textures, and images of Mexico in works by local artists Stacie Bird (photography), Elli Groninger/Crash & Burn Metal Art (metal sculpture), and Harriet M. Rosenburg (cut paper, photography).

The ¡Viva México! exhibit will be on display at The State College Framing Company & Gallery at 160 Rolling Ridge Drive in State College from October 13 through November 17. (Visit framingstatecollege.com for gallery hours.)

A fiesta-style reception will be held at the gallery during the Mexican holiday of Dia de Muertos, on Friday, November 2, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. You’re invited to meet the artists and enjoy their works, sample local wines and sangria from Mount Nittany Vineyard & Winery, and enjoy delicious fiesta hors d’oeuvres by local caterer, Paul’s Provisions.

A portion of proceeds from sales made during the reception will benefit the Bellefonte Art Museum. The event and exhibit are free and open to the public.
