Welding and drawing in steel since 1995, Elli Groninger has developed a unique way bending whimsical caricatures into 3D origami sculptures. As a writer and illustrator, her books have been touted for ‘Making people smile while creating conversations between the generations.” With a foundation of study from The Pa. Governor’s School for the Arts and Carnegie-Mellon University’s Dept. of Fine Art, her career that has spanned from coast to coast including toy design, materials design, metals smithing and portraiture.
